Antelope Canyon--near Page, Arizona and Lake Powell--is one of the world's most famous "slot canyons." This amazing canyon was created over thousands of years, as Nature--like an artist working with wind and water--expertly sculpted the ancient sandstone, creating both vibrant and muted colors, fascinating shapes, and interesting textures which can be observed and photographed as a Navajo guide leads groups of tourists and photographers into its depths. The view significantly varies depending on the time of day, the weather, and the light as the hues and shadows are constantly changing.
