My home is Massachusetts, and no area has more to offer than Central and Western Massachusetts. NO---Massachusetts does NOT end at Route 495. West of 495 lies most of the great beauty of Massachusetts. Visit Worcester or the areas north of Worcester--often called the North Quabbin or Quabbin Valley. Stop in and see all the small towns have to offer-- Athol, Templeton, Winchendon, Orange, Petersham, Erving, Wendell, Shutesbury, Amherst, Shelburne Falls, and so many more. Visit the cities of Leominster, Fitchburg, Gardner, Greenfield, Worcester, and Springfield. Go a bit east and enjoy seeing the lovely, historic town of Harvard! You'll find that Nature has been extraordinarily generous to this part of the Commonwealth!
